Families that prefer the roominess of one large gathering space, rather than two or more smaller rooms, will appreciate this plan. In this informal, midsize, four-bedroom home, about two-thirds of the main floor is devoted to a sun-washed family living area that fits this description to a "T". Entering, you walk across the covered porch into a two-story vaulted entry with a stairway wrapping up the left side and light washing in through three stair-step windows.
